Alix lived in Oman and painted a very large number of paintings including a large series for the then Sultan, HM Sultan Qaboos. Oman continues to crop up in her paintings from time to time. A wonderful people and country. Recently she was commissioned to paint a caricature of a member of Oman’s royal family.
