2008 Invited onto the Committee to choose the sculptor to create the statue of the famous New Zealander Air Chief Marshal Sir Keith Park GCB, KBE, MC*, DFC, DCL.  Les Johnson was selected and subsequently he and I discovered we had been to the same art college and just missed overlapping.  The statue stands in Waterloo Place, London SW1.
