Some months ago I had submitted a painting Early morning late summer Provence to the Landscape section and was shortlisted from thousands.Latest news is that I won the only Highly Commended awarded in that section. During the visit we spent a week in the northwest of Yunnan Province in China visiting Lijiang and Dali and places in between. Jane Krivine works tirelessly to bring young Arab and Israeli children together through tennis. Her father the late and wonderful Freddie Krivine started this work years ago after moving to Israel from England and Jane continues it as the Director of the Freddie Krivine Foundation. Two originals sold plus a print and several greeting cards. One of the originals I shall miss in particular. As I update this blog I can hear an early sign of winter a mouse inside the wall of my studio. They camp close to a night storage heater but theyll have to wait as I dont want to switch on the heating until I have to. In spite of that it is proving a great success.Im open until 4pm on Monday 29 August or by appointment at any other time or day including weekends.
